Summerfair started out in Mt. Adams in 1968 to celebrate a new playhouse at Robert Marx's theater. However, just 2 years later in 1970, the event was so popular that they moved to Eden Park and officially registered as a not for profit dedicated to supporting the arts of Cincinnati - which they've been doing ever since.
